Head to the Eastern side of the building and get to the top of the yellow-netted scaffolding to find the Spider-Bot. To reach it, you’ll have to go to the rooftop of the thin and wide building just North of the indoor stadium to the South of the Spider-Bot. Stand on its North-Western corner, then hold L2+X  to charge up a Slingshot Launch. Head for the North-Eastern corner of the plaza and look for the building wall with a vertical mural, depicting a cat on the bottom, a book in the middle, and a woman at the top. This Spider-Bot, JJJ, can be found close to the Northern border of Greenwich.

The only villains we get are Kraven, Venom, Sandman, The Lizard, and Mysterio (kind of). They set up The Chameleon and Carnage but they don’t actually do anything. And that’s not even mentioning side characters like Silver Sable who easily could’ve returned in some capacity. Spider-Man 2 doesn’t repeat a single villain from the first game. With the small exception of a Mister Negative boss fight, but he doesn’t do anything until that point. And I applaud them for trying to use new characters; however, it came at the cost of a cohesive universe.

Everything he does is intimidating, and you feel the power behind every movement. Thanks in no small part to the fact that you get to play as him for a stretch. Hopes were high when the teasers at the end of both Spider-Man and Miles Morales teased the arrival of Venom. And, thankfully, it’s the only part of the story they actually did well. At first, players may be wondering what Kraven’s actual motivation is other than finding the strongest opponent to kill. It’s revealed that Kraven is dying from a disease and that he doesn’t have much more time left to live. After Sandman was defeated in the opening, crystals can be found all over New York. These crystals will spawn smaller Sandmen that players have to defeat in order to collect the crystal. These reveal hidden memories of Marko before the events of his attack on the city.

The focus on Wolverine could be another contributing factor as to why Spider-Man 2 didn’t get any new story DLC. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 made a remarkable splash in the gaming world when it launched on PlayStation 5 in 2023. The game delivered thrilling action and stunning visuals, effectively bringing Peter and Miles to life in a captivating way. Over time, the Venom symbiote created its own offspring, which bonded with a serial killer named Cletus Kasady to form the new villain Carnage. Sensing a greater threat than his grudge with Spider-Man, Venom reluctantly agreed to work with Peter to stop their mutual enemies and the two have maintained an uneasy truce, occasionally dipping back into their old conflicting ways. Since then, Venom has become something of a lethal protector rather than an all-out villain, protecting the innocent, albeit with more excessive force than his old webslinging rival.

PC optimization has long been a tricky part of porting games, though Insomniac has worked to bring the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 up to speed, making it a valid way to play for those who may not have a PlayStation 5. The main difference in the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 are more advanced ray tracing options. They allow to get prettier reflections and shadows, as well as more realistic looking lighting (the game supports Nvidia DLSS Ray Reconstruction technology).

Peter manages to retrieve the serum from Kraven, who discovers the exosuit’s weakness to loud noises. After Peter and Harry synthesize an antidote for Connors, Peter locates him with Miles’ help and eventually defeats and cures him. Upon seeing Peter wearing the exosuit, Connors reveals that it is actually an alien lifeform called a symbiote, which Oscorp obtained years prior from a meteorite, and warns Peter to destroy it. Under the symbiote’s corrupting influence, Peter refuses and keeps it for himself despite learning that Harry’s illness has returned, straining their friendship. As Peter goes on a symbiote-induced rampage against the Hunters (even nearly killing Mary Jane at one point), Kraven captures Miles and forces him to fight Li.

The same can be said for both its heroes and villains, as Spider-Man 2 tackles the reasoning behind each character’s actions and the good that can hide in the shadows of evil. HM88 that Insomniac has made improvements in is that Spider-Man 2 offers significantly more in the way of enemy variety, so you’ll no longer be battering the same five balaclava bullies with baseball bats. New factions and units, such as flamethrower-wielding cultists that keep you at a distance, flying drones, and hunters who deploy laser grids above your head to limit aerial attacks keep you on your sticky toes.

If you still need any combat-related trophies try to pair them up with Collectibles, many of them feature enemies. Getting bronze medals in the Mysterium Challenges is enough for trophy purposes, no need to get silver or gold. All Collectibles get marked when unfogging the map, except Spider-Bots which are unmarked. Once you reach district completion level 2 it fully unfogs the map.

You swap between both Miles and Peter to bring him down as he blasts apart whole city blocks in a blind rage. Meanwhile, the 12-core Intel Core i K or AMD Ryzen X (or better) will be sufficient for the gaming CPU, with the RAM requirement still set at 16GB. With these specs, set your graphics preset to high, but set your ray tracing settings to very high. With these specs, you’ll be able to hit 1440p at 60fps using high graphics settings.

To celebrate the launch, the primary suit in the game, Peter Parker’s Advanced Suit 2.0, will be available to purchase and use in Marvel Rivals starting tonight. We’ll update this post if PlayStation Studios or Insomniac Games reveal an exact release time for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC.
